We love our pets too!  We ask that you keep your dogs on a leash or tie when

not in arms reach of you. While dogs running around lose feels freeing for the

owner it can be a burden for the other guests and their tied up dogs. There are 

lots of trails and places to run your pet unincumbered. Just remember there is

also lots of wildlife and wonderful smells for your dog to chase after. A few dogs

have caused their owners great grief by going rogue...they couldn't help themselves.

There is a $10.00 charge per dog per night. Please consider if you are going to spend

a lot of time away from the resort or on the water. If your dog can't go with you

please reconsider bringing them. They are not happy being left behind in a

strange environment and your fellow campers may not be as thrilled to hear 

their mournful cries. We've had dogs break through screens, scratch at doors and howl

as if they were being tortured. Famous last words "Not my dog!" Trust me we've been there too.

There are poop and scoop bags available by the wash station...no one likes a poopy foot!
